The Secret to AI Growth: Adoption Over Performance

Key Takeaways:

  • The businesses using AI best prioritize adoption over perfection.
  • Building real tools with real application isn’t failure: it’s data.

What Does a Failure of Technology Look Like?

I’ve practiced a lot of failure in the last few months.

Failure looks like:

+2 new consumer tools that haven’t stuck:

-Parent Pulse: an email aggregation tool for schools & extracurriculars to catch only important things for busy parents: (*only 2 customers generated- and the app was FREE lol)

-Instant Insider: a daily news aggregator tool to keep white collar pros up-to-date on industry and occupational trends (*only 1 customer generated)

+1 new agency tool that hasn’t stuck:

-QA. ai: a tool to QA text-based ad copy (currently being leveraged, but ONLY by my team).

Do Businesses Undervalue AI Adoption?

Sitting in that failure sucks, and it makes it tricky to figure out what to offer social media. But through all this, something specific became apparent.

Like a business itself, adoption doesn’t just HAPPEN. Even on a free tool, even on tools that in my own brain make all the sense in the world to use.

But right there’s the opportunity.

What Moves the Needle With AI Tools?

If you’re into coding/building new tech with Claude, if you ever want this out the door, you have to figure out how to put your entire weight into it, and find the right words to sell the value to people.

People who can figure THAT out make real impact with their tech.

I’ve done a terrible job of it the last few months, and I’ve been too fixated on adding features and over-perfecting things I’ve built.

Supporting References and Demos

Meanwhile, the agency tool is proprietary and not mine to share, but if you want to check out Instant Insider or Parent Pulse, I’ve attached demos below:

And by the way, I’ll choose failure over blissful ignorance every day of the week.

How to Hit the Rocket Boost on Your Hires: A Modern Take

Should I hire the 4-year college grad or the high school dropout?

Across decades of history, you’d be laughed out of the room for asking that kind of question.

But now, it’s a little more complex. But WHY?

Because in a world where scale is a button click away, our most valuable employees are no longer producing, but thinking at extremely high levels.

Your ideas and your taste frame your value. For better or worse, producing those ideas end up being a small fraction of your contributions to society today.

Hire the Person, Not the Productivity

There’s always been an understanding that you should hire the person over the title, but that was even before the person had the entire internet at their fingertips.

If I could quintuple-down on the idea, I would. Anybody can scale their ideas and taste quickly, so aligning the person to your overall direction is an absolute cheat code.

If every company’s employee’s end goals are to sell their desks and focus all attention on building relationships (like it SHOULD be), then just imagine a world where everyone’s instinct is the exact same.

If you can accurately formalize and hire around your company’s mission and values, all AI and human brains would be pointed at exactly the same goal.

Your scale would be untouchable.

AI for Content Creation: Blending AI With Branding

Should AI be replacing your templates, and what will that do to brand consistency?

What trips a lot of people up is thinking, “well hey I can just use AI and throw out all my templates. Everything across my websites and social media pages will be customized!”

But what people WANT is better personalization WITHIN their brand.

So how do you get to that point?

Formalize Your Brand Guidelines (with Examples)

Paid Media platforms with hundreds of millions of dollars running through them each month are now requiring one new thing from every single advertiser: Brand Guidelines.

The reason being, AI-generated content has become so prevalent, so mainstream and accepted that it’s assumed that it’ll get used at least at some point.

Your brand guidelines are characterized by 2 major elements that are true of everything you create: brand colors, and brand font.

Typically, this looks like a color palette of 3-5 colors, then 1-3 brand fonts (sometimes based on formatting structure of the document or webpage).

I would also add a third element in 2026, which is a short style description for visual content (examples include “anime style” or “photorealistic/cinematic style”).

When you have established brand guidelines, you can then ensure consistency in AI assets that is impossible otherwise.

Where to Use AI in Content

AI is used to customize information so it’s delivery is strong- that’s a good thing!

Once you’ve created the idea yourself and really can visualize what should be produced, AI canbe used in a few key places straight away:

  1. Visualizations & Infographics: these are static images that AI excels at, and the infographics you’ve probably used in the past will still sit on the boundaries of your brand guidelines anyway.
  2. Video content: You can absolutely let AI take big swings here. Your video is uniquely tailored to customers, and you should still have pieces of your video that are actual shoots from your team, but supplementing transitions/supporting shots with AI will be valuable.
  3. Image content: This is the easiest place to go overboard, but if you’re creating images for the purpose of providing information, it can be helpful. People demonstrating your product, even if created by AI, is more valuable than a random Pexels image tied to your social media post.
  4. Editing: It may be surprising, but having AI fill in gaps for an existing creative that you love can be one of the best use cases. Set up transitions for your video, blur out something in your image, overlay your logo… all excellent uses of AI!

Already, you’re winning back hours per week in Canva.

Supplementing AI Content with Brand Templates

Watch out, because if you’ve gotten this far we’re on expert mode now. You can and should actually blend templates into your AI-generated content as well.

Here are some examples:

  • Use AI to create a relevant podcast thumbnail image, but overlay a graphic with the name of the podcast and the title beneath.
  • Use AI to create an informative video on YouTube, but use your typical intro and outro templates to bookend (reminder to match video styles here!)
  • Create and write a blog post based on a standard outline, but use AI to identify and cite sources to improve the post.

The world will soon fall into 3 classes of people:

  1. Those who use AI exclusively and lose their connections to customers
  2. Those who reject AI completely and overwork themselves out of their business
  3. Those who blend the two to make their lives easier while maximizing their time establishing and building human connection.

The bucket you fall into directly correlates to how good you are at identifying where people want actual connection and where people want information.

People should own connection, but AI should own information.

Personally, I get excited about transforming businesses with tools like these. But, as you know, it’s not a one-size-fits-all.

Your business processes and needs are exclusive to you. And AI doesn’t always have the best track record for quality and accuracy. Giving the keys to your business to this kind of technology can be daunting.

And that’s okay! Leaning into things that are daunting is part of leadership, and so is pulling in trusted resources to help you navigate new waters.

That’s where my big brother and I come in.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

What is AI for content creation?

AI for content creation is the use of tools like ChatGPT to generate text, images, videos, and other marketing assets. It helps scale production, but requires structure to maintain quality and consistency.

Why does AI-generated Content Feel Inconsistent?

AI-generated content feels inconsistent when it lacks clear brand guidelines and templates. Without defined tone, structure, and design rules, outputs vary widely depending on prompts.

Should AI Replace Content Templates?

No. AI should enhance templates—not replace them. Templates create consistency and structure, while AI adds speed and customization within those boundaries.

How do Brand Guidelines Improve AI-generated Content?

Brand guidelines ensure all AI-generated content aligns with your visual identity and voice. This includes colors, fonts, tone, and style, which help maintain consistency across platforms.

How Should AI Be Used in Content Creation?

AI is most effective when used to:

  • Generate drafts and variations
  • Create visuals and supporting assets
  • Edit and refine existing content

It should support content systems, not replace them.

How Can You Scale Content with AI Without Losing Brand Consistency?

The best approach is to combine:

  • Clear brand guidelines
  • Reusable content templates
  • AI tools for execution
  • Human oversight for final quality

This creates scalable content without sacrificing brand identity.

Music Marketplace by Eleven Labs: Create & Sell Music at Scale

If you’re like me, you get the “Eleven Labs” YouTube ad roughly 100 times per day (only half-joking there!).

For all its promotion, it just formalized something we’ve all known was coming: AI music. ElevenLabs is no fringe player. They raised $500 million in a February 2026 Series C at an $11 billion valuation, and crossed $330 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025.

This one hits home for me pretty hard, coming from a music background. I studied Music Performance at the University of Cincinnati (CCM), and I can tell you this launch will put many out of business.

A historically underpaid subset of people, musicians will now be competing with vibe coders on music as well.

ai-music-scale-vs-soul

With this tool, you’re able to design, launch, and monetize your tracks built with Eleven Labs. The ElevenMusic app is free to start, and users get up to 7 AI-generated songs per day on the free tier. The Pro tier runs $9.99/month ($95.90/year) and unlocks 500 tracks per month with over 500 GB of storage. Expect a lot of commercial music, simple beats/rhythms, and low prices here.

I won’t throw Eleven Labs under the bus here. Their position is that the music industry is broken. ElevenLabs argues that their platform eliminates confusion around who earns what when music is downloaded, offering a direct-to-creator model.

Let’s hope the best musicians make the most of this new scalable music platform!

And if not, here’s an open invite to commission musicians who may be interested- reach out at kyle@low-code-bros.com.

Nomie (Launch 3/23/26): A Leader In The Anti-AI Movement

Nomie is pioneering the anti-AI wellness movement by re-engineering the most common online habit (“doomscrolling”) into a calming experience. It’s the nicotine patch of the Gen Z era.

While the cute blob creature on the front page is a little much for me, many will benefit from rewiring their brains this way, swapping dopamine hits on Instagram for box breathing exercises and journaling.

If you’ve read the Power of Habit, you’re familiar with the concept: intercept moments the doomscrolling “moment” on your phone and forge new neural pathways in your brain to expect new emotional responses when scrolling.

The Nomie manifesto writes, “The future will be saturated with AI, but the people who thrive will be the ones who Live Aggressively Human—clear, present, and ruthlessly self-aware.”

I’m betting BIG on the anti-AI movement that’s sure to come at the heels of a launch like this. Apps that provide wellness, apps that get you outdoors, apps that encourage social interaction further… these small ideas will keep humanity grounded, and it’ll make these founders wealthy in more ways than one.

WEIR AI (Launch 3/2/26): Protect Or Monetize Your Online Identity

The days of swiping random images online for your website or content are over. WEIR AI has tracked over 20,000 citations to locate images even in the deep recesses of the internet.

This product is useful for anyone trying to get or stay off the grid, but the real value could come from influencers and other famous individuals.

Nearly half of all content creators and influencers indicate that their content is used by brands without their permission. The tricky part is tracking down those instances to hold businesses accountable.

This is still a product early in launch, but done correctly, a person’s name, image, and likeness will be theirs to fight for.

Change Management with AI: The Promotion No One Announced

This article explains how AI should be implemented as a workforce expansion tool — not a job replacement strategy — and how organizations can restructure roles around managing AI systems.

“People, Ryan… and people will never go out of business.”

Michael Scott’s rare genius shines on us again as we look ahead to how AI will shape our hard working teams.

Let me be clear: AI SHOULD NOT REPLACE JOBS. It should expand them.

The Low-Code-Bros will NEVER advocate for teams to be cut based on our automations. Rather, roles should transform.

Junior team members should have elevated roles with more responsibility. They shouldn’t be replaced- but rather marshalling teams double the size with double the energy.

The New Org Chart: AI as the First Universal Junior Hire

While Janice from accounting was at home brewing her herbal tea, her AI agents were processing her emails in double time. Her Claude account was scraping new emails as they came in and pinging her with urgent messages.

Her Perplexity account was deep-researching the new Accounting methodology she heard about on LinkedIn.

Round and round her agent fleet goes, the new junior members of the Accounting department.

When you manage AI agents in your role, total responsibility shifts from Creator to Editor. Where you once created spreadsheets for your staff, you now oversee their creation and make adjustments for human taste where needed.

Teaching team members unfamiliar with AI how to manage these “junior” agents can come with pushback.

Employees struggle to start conversations with a large language model (LLM), or identify a key workflow they could easily pass off to an AI.

Moreover, there’s a real learning curve to leading junior team members that know everything about the world, but almost nothing about your business.

But there’s a simple trick. If you’re new to LLMs, simply start conversations with the AI like you’d talk to an employee.

AI are great at 2 things: research and creation.

Where do your teams lean into those? Start there, and give the AI a task like you’d give to a new hire on your team.

The workflow for AI agents looks like: receive a task -> decide whether it’s creative or research-based -> if so, send to AI for a first pass -> Re-prompt or edit manually where necessary.

Will they always get it right away? Nah. But that’s where human managers will start to separate themselves. Explaining to AI agents task directions is a new key soft skill for any position.

What “Promotion” For AI Managers (AKA your entire staff) Actually Means

Congratulations! Each of your employees have officially been promoted to managers!

No, but seriously- if you’re framing this shift in any other way, you’re going to get pushback from your team.

Start with the “Why.”

“We’re introducing AI because we believe our team is best-in-class and we want to scale it.”

And by the way, “scaling” is the appropriate term here- if you have a “Worst-in-class” team, get ready to see more of it!

Your newly implemented AI Managers should now be in a position to exercise new skills: delegation, QA, and reporting come to mind- all because of their ability to delegate to an LLM.

In addition to their newfound knowledge of AI processes, these soft leadership skills that allow them to successfully deploy AI will upgrade their careers anywhere they go.

The New Skill: Managing Digital Teammates

The first thing you learn when working with AI and large language models is: systems are your friend!

I mentioned before that poor teams lead to poorer teams with AI. Well, so do poor systems.

Data integrity, process formalization… these aren’t just buzzwords in 2026, but actual problems that extrapolate out when trying to automate. So get your systems and your data right!

This has historically NOT been as much an issue, because your messy folder on your work computer has only been accessed by YOU.

If an AI agent goes to find documents on your laptop, how will they discern between “budget sheet 1,” “budget sheet (final),” and “budget sheet (master)?”

If your data nomenclature is poor, your instructions will have to be that much more extensive. Do the dirty work now and clean up your files.

Once you have that in place, redefine roles. Who is actually managing if AI is a core process in the business? A content marketing strategist’s AI agents will look a lot different that the CFO’s.

Structurally, everyone stays in the same position (no need to revise job titles just because you roll out AI), but delegation to even an associate-level now comes with a need for total comprehension.

You wouldn’t delegate a task to a director who half-understands the goal. When everything is scaled out, even a slight miscommunication can lead to a large-scale problem to solve later.

This can now occur at all levels of your organization.

Also, roll out a formal AI management program! It doesn’t have to be the Low-Code-Bros, but anywhere people can get clear instructions on how to lead their new AI employees will add value.

Most importantly, get training in place that puts the people in the driver’s seat. Empower your teams to explore, learn new things, and fail smartly within safeguards.

Once tools are set up to run independently with their managers, slowly pivot toward an integrated approach, where AI actually talk to each other.

Simple pass-offs work great initially, but then layer on simple follow ups and build in a safeguard to avoid a expensive mishaps.

AI adoption is all about how you frame it. If you frame it as the replacement technology, teams will scoff.

If you frame it as a step toward leadership, it’s easier to grasp.

Stitch by Google (Launch 2/24/26): Turn Napkin Sketches Into Production-Ready UI in Seconds

Google is now competing in the world of coding with Stitch!

A little late to the party, their UI is still a fairly useful- and their big bet is that coders are still using traditional methods of receiving image/hand-drawn sketches of webpages as templates, then coding into those directly.

If this is true, Google’s product will pay off! Unfortunately, Claude is much further ahead in both code community buy-in and functionality.

The good news is, once built, you can export your Stitch into Google’s AI Studio, which is much better at integrating outside of Google’s environment (via API or code export).

I’m shorting the bet on this product, unfortunately, because I’m not positive how often coding concepts play out this way. But if you’re working with an old-school business or coding expert, this may be right up your alley!

Superagent (Launch 1/27/2026): From Research to Slides in Minutes

Superagent is one of those AI tools that feels immediately useful the moment you open it. AND you get a 1-month free trail at signup.

The core value is simple: give it a topic to research, and it can turn that research into a clean, structured slide deck without the usual hours of Googling, copying, and formatting.

For day-to-day presenters, that’s a big deal.

Consultants can spin up quick POV decks before a client call.
Account executives can prep smarter discovery or proposal slides.
Sales teams can turn industry research into polished talking points before a pitch.

Instead of starting from a blank slide and stitching together sources, Superagent handles the heavy lifting. It gathers information, structures the narrative, and packages it into something presentation-ready.

While it removes the slow parts to present, be on the lookout for hallucination. ESPECIALLY when it comes to explaining niche topics.

If your job regularly involves explaining ideas, selling strategies, or summarizing research into something clients or leadership can understand quickly, this is one of the more practical AI tools to keep on your radar.

Clean input → fast research → strong first-draft deck.

And if you package this to present something that has a lot of online buzz, you’re looking at hours saved and clients crying happy tears.

Omnia (Launch 2/18/26) – Turn AI Visibility Into Action

Omnia is one of the cleaner entries in the GEO space right now — and more importantly, one of the few that actually tells you what to do with the data.

A lot of tools in this category stop at visibility tracking. They’ll show whether your brand appears in ChatGPT answers or AI search summaries, but then leave you staring at a dashboard wondering what to change.

Or sometimes, their only change is a back-end data filtering play, which is super bougie but not digestible at all as a business owner.

Omnia goes a step further. It translates those insights into actual content direction with what to publish, what to update, and where your competitors are earning AI mentions instead of you.

That’s where the real value shows up. The only catch is the price.

Compared to tools like Scrunch AI or Peak-style GEO trackers, Omnia sits a tidbit higher on the cost curve. For solo operators or small teams just experimenting with GEO, it can feel like paying enterprise rates for mid-market usage.

Still, if you’re serious about improving how your brand shows up inside AI-generated answers, Omnia is a fascinating new tech you may want to check in on!
