Stitch by Google (Launch 2/24/26): Turn Napkin Sketches Into Production-Ready UI in Seconds

Google is now competing in the world of coding with Stitch!

A little late to the party, their UI is still a fairly useful- and their big bet is that coders are still using traditional methods of receiving image/hand-drawn sketches of webpages as templates, then coding into those directly.

If this is true, Google’s product will pay off! Unfortunately, Claude is much further ahead in both code community buy-in and functionality.

The good news is, once built, you can export your Stitch into Google’s AI Studio, which is much better at integrating outside of Google’s environment (via API or code export).

I’m shorting the bet on this product, unfortunately, because I’m not positive how often coding concepts play out this way. But if you’re working with an old-school business or coding expert, this may be right up your alley!
